Earlier today, HongMi Phone was up for sales again on its online website. XiaoMi offered a total 100,000 units of HongMi Phone together with 100,000 units of XiaoMi Mi-2S 32GB version and 20,000 units XiaoMi Box to residents in China.
According to the Weibo of HongMi Phone, the 100,000 units of HongMi Phone had been sold out in just 2 minutes and 5 seconds. The XiaoMi Mi-2S and XiaoMi Box were sold out as well not long after that.
The HongMi Phone is one of the cheapest quad-core smartphones in the Chinese market. It is available for RMB 799 ($130) on the price tag. HongMi Phone has a 4.7-inch HD display, 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 8MP of camera on the rear-side of the device.
