Apple introduced a new tablet: iPad Air and iPad Mini

Apple has officially announced two new models of its tablets, including the iPad Air, equipped with a 9.7-inch display in the new thin and light design. This new model, according to the manufacturer, is 20% thinner and 28% lighter than the fourth-generation iPad, while having a thin frame around the display.

In addition, Apple introduced the iPad mini with a display Retina - the same resolution as the 9.7-inch models. New plates are equipped with energy-efficient performance processor Apple A7 with 64-bit architecture, built-in high-speed Wi-Fi and LTE networks, as well as new features iOS 7.

IPad Air Tablet with Wi-Fi will be available on November 1st for a suggested retail price of $ 499 for the 16GB model, $ 599 for the 32GB model, $ 699 for the 64GB model and $ 799 for the 128 GB model. iPad Air-enabled mobile network operators also will be available from November 1 and will cost $ 130 more expensive than similar (in terms of memory) models without the support of cellular networks.

iPad mini with Retina display will appear later this year in November, where the recommended retail price for the model with only Wi-Fi and cellular networks will be supported by $ 100 less than similar (in terms of memory) models of iPad Air.
